After School Programs
The Academy Schools offers an individualized and group based after school program. The
program incorporates School and Community based instruction which allows the individual to
gain the skills necessary to survive in everyday life, such as transportation from various places in
the community, learning how to seek help from the community, teaching the individual how to
purchase items for daily life, and developing an understanding of appropriate interactions with the
community and its members.
Our After School Program emphasizes on the development of Functional Skills, Social Skills, and
Recreational Skills.
